T-Mobile G1 or Samsung Behold

I'm trying to figure out which phone to get next. I still have a year on my T-mobile contract so going to another provider isn't an option since I need to get a new phone soon. Which one should I get?T-Mobile G1 or Samsung Behold
according to PCpro, the G1 is not particularly good. The 'android' phone concept is good, but the actual G1 itself is not very good, so, i would not recommend that.,T-Mobile G1 or Samsung Behold
it all comes down to if you like touch screen or actual qwerty

so id choose based on that

EDIT

and the behold does not have WiFi
Why don't you just finish up the contract and see what new phones are out by then?
I'm on family plan with my wife. She won't ever get rid of T-mobile so she keeps renewing our contract for 2 years at a time. My phone currently (Sidekick 3) has deleted my phonebook list 3 times. So I'm just going to get a phone i really like if I have to stick with T-mobile. I just can't choose between the Behold and the G1, since I like them both.
Get the G1. The Samsung is a nice phone too, but the only thing it has going for it is the 5 Megapixel camera. The G1 is a better ''future proof'' phone because of its incredible OS, Android. You can get Apps and new features and can customize every aspect of the phone. The Behold's OS is your run of the mill Samsung OS which youll feel like chucking away after a year.
I dont really know which one is better...cant say

there used to be 10,000 members on gs, what happened?

Gamespot happened, the ''Gerstmann incident'' happened, corporate America happened.

This. Granted as I have said before we still don't know what REALLY happened.
They stopped counting the amount of Gamefaqs users online.
i think alot of the people left gamespot when GiantBomb was created
Gerstman incident + Giantbomb + Stricter mods + weaker staff (especially for the PC section) hasn't done any good for this site.
Corruption.
Well spoken, the ''Giant Bomb'' incident could well have been the nail in the coffin.Create a gaming site with no limits, why would anyone look down when they can look up?

Pretty much.
What is Giant Bomb?
What is Giant Bomb?
giantbomb.com Do it. Now.
well a while ago GB was created and its a gaming site like Gamespot and has a forum, but the forums dont really have any rules, and if i remeber correctly it was created by Jeff Ghertsman(SP?) so alot of gamespot users left to go to Giantbombs forums.

It's a decent site, I like it.
GiantBomb (Gerstmann) is the main reason why GS mods have become more relaxed...now watch me get modded for this...

Since you so lovingly added that last part, I wouldn't doubt it.
Giant bomb's forums are like a ghost town.

It's all good- I'm like a ghost (without the town). I keep haunting, regardless.

Poll: I like the smell of my own farts

Its been brought to my attention that we enjoy the smell of our own farts, for example people let one off and will say things like ''check out that badboy!'' while everyone else in the room is retching the offender just stands there grinning.......Poll: I like the smell of my own farts
I think OT can do without threads about various bodily expulsions. :P

They seem to be disturbingly popular.

  • Does anyone even get wtf that new Will Smith movie is about?

Yes I went on the net and read a description about it so now I do, but I'm talking about seeing the trailer or the tv ad. Did it make sense to you? I know it didn't for me.Does anyone even get wtf that new Will Smith movie is about?
Some links perhaps.. Haven't heard about this movieDoes anyone even get wtf that new Will Smith movie is about?
What wasn't to make sense? A man ruins his life and tries to redeem himself by helping the lives of complete strangers, falls in love in the process.:| You can gather this from Smith's narrative.
I forgot what it was called.
7 pounds? I have no idea, haven't seen the trailer.
    7 Pounds?
will smith in another movie...ughi see him in one more movie i might go nuts
    Something about changing people's lives.
The movie is Seven Pounds. Trailer.

Maybe I just keep seeing the wrong commercial because there is no narration in the one I remember. In any case, the concept of the movie seems pretty dumb.
Isn't that sort of the point?? To leave you wanting to know more?? I mean, what's the point of seeing a movie if you know what it is about and what is going to happen??

I can't wait until it comes out, especially after The Pursuit of Happyness.

Is that the one where someone from here on OT's brother plays young Will Smith somewhere in the movie?
Is that the one where someone from here on OT's brother plays young Will Smith somewhere in the movie?
That's gotta be Dreams-Visions. I'll ask him on teh IRC :o
Well, Will Smith is good and I trust his acting abilities even though many movies he has been in were not that good.Rosario Dawson is the hottest girl in existence, and a decent actress.Woody Harrelson is in it if my eyes didnt lie, and Ive been a fan if his since White Men Cant Jump. The director did Pursiut of Happiness, which was a great movie albeit a bit too feel good and mushy for my tastes.I t hink this movie will be great. I just hope he doesnt have any supernatural powers. My guess is he is hiding his name cuz he killed a baby that weighed 7 pounds and he was in the newspaper lol

I think it's D-V because he was talking about his brother and Will Smith about 6 - 12 months ago, I believe.
7 pounds. suicidal man decides instead of taking his life to make other strangers lives better
I'm pretty sure that this movie is about a man who becomes the Angel of Death.

Just buy 5 Honda Civics. Drive one, store the other four for when the first craps out. Rinse repeat.
For $109,000 you can have yourself a Tesla Roadster.

Great car if you have another for ordinary days otherwise you need the Veyron, Mclaren SLR or an Aston Martin, cause they have propper boots and won't destroy your spine on long jorneys. Though if you can afford to get something else for the weekend/track then get a standard civic or something else reliable for the ordinary day then get an Atom or Caterham for pure driving pleasure.

Super cars are nice and all but most of them arn't practical and don't give a better driving experiance than a much cheaper raw driving car.

Buy a Delorean and be the envy of all your friends.
I wish I had 100's of thousands of dollars, I might actually spend it on investments or something useful.... rather than a tacky car that can go fast enough to break the sound barrier for no apparent reason.

    Chili's VS Romano's Macaroni

Chili's has over 1,000 casual dining restaurants, mostly located in the United States.

Romano's Macaroni Grill is an Italian-style chain of casual dining restaurants with locations throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada.Chili's VS Romano's Macaroni
Chili's is gross. All they have that's good is a happy hour with cheap margaritas and half-price appetizers (the only edible thing on the menu).

I liked Macaroni Grill until my friend worked there for a year and told me enough stories to make me... not ever want to ever go to one again.

    Do you guys want............

Apocalypse as a villian in a X men 4 movie or any comic movie? :D
