Its been out almost a month so I was wondering. I liked it personally, great rock album.Who here bought Chinese Democracy?

I was never a fan of GNR. I saw it got 4 out of 5 stars somewhere. I was wondering if it was just hype, or if it's actually that good.
I didn't buy it, since I don't like their new stuff. GNR isn't the same without Slash and with Axl in it, plus I hate Axl.

Yeah same here. Axl threatened to sue Dr. Pepper because of the whole ordeal I think. I know they were angry about it as was I.
After slash left, they lost a great deal of respect in my eyes :(

lol i remember hearing somthing about that on the radio i downloaded it. it seems liek the same thing over and over but still good.
I got it, didn't like it.
I haven't and don't plan to. It isn't Guns N Roses, it's ''Axl Rose and the Rosettes''.
Yeah like everyone I miss Slash a lot to. The new guitarist are good, especially Buckethead even though he is pretty weird looking, but not Slash. I loved the CD but was dissapointed that there was no new November Rain or Estranged. I would have liked a new ''Epic Song'' but then again they were made in 92 so who knows if we will ever see a new one.
I hear its banned in china and those caght with it have to do the hookie pokie for 53 stright hours.

Not sure about the hokie pokie but yeah I think it is banned or just the title track. I know they banned the web site Chinese Democracy to(Its like a GNR forum). Pretty Funny if you ask me.
I got it for my birthday. It's freaking weird, but I've grown to like it. If you can accept there's no Slash/Izzy/etc, and it's not gonna be the same as 80s GNR, it's actually a mostly great album.
I did. Not ashamed, and was stunned at how good it is. Love Shackler's Revenge, Street of Dreams, Catcher in the Rye, and This I Love. Was it worth the wait? No. But what could be.
No, they suck without Slash.

You know I liked the guitar parts of it, but missed Duff %26 the bass more. The change there was obvious to me.
I have good news to all the people who miss Slash. He is coming out with a solo album next year. I will look for a link to show. We have Velvet Revolver until then.
Heard a few tracks online and on Sirius, not going to waste my money......
