Classic Rock vs Modern Rock

So what do you people listen to today? Personally I'm all about classic rock. But I want to know how anybody could possibly like the stuff their making today.Classic Rock vs Modern Rock
both, i dont like it when people complain music isnt what ''it used to be''Classic Rock vs Modern Rock
That's an impossible question for me. I love both.
I like some classic rock as well but although bands of today are crap, there are a handful of really good ones. To lazy to list them though...
I'm not a fan of classic rock at all. Even worse than the music itself is the 13 year old kids who think they're cool because they can listen to some old band that doesn't matter anymore.
im a big fan of classic rock, really the only modern rock band i listen to is Disturbed
Well, first off, very rarely do any bands of today have any real TALENT in them. There are no amazing guitarists like clapton, hendrix or stevie ray vaughn. All the music is simple and its all about ''KILL ME NOW PLEASE'' Too much emo stuff..
Overall I prefer classic rock, but I'll listen to some modern music as well from time to time.
Joke? Classic Rock >>> Trash >>>>> Modern Rock

If you challenge me and find me one good guitarist in a modern band, ill look him up on youtube. Because I honestly have not been able to find any talent with these ''bands''
I prefer classic rock. I've never been able to get really into modern rock. Maybe someday.

Music has changed and so has talent, if you wan't some good new aged artists, go check out Interpole ( Song Seven is a good start) SilverSun Pickups is a little more mainstream but they have excellent overdub, The Mars Volta is another great choice..... there are plenty of others as well.
Modern rock is kinda shiny and popular and what not. But classic rock has the substance. Think I prefer classic.

And oh yeah, whats up with everyones voices today? They all sound like an average 26 year olds man voice would. All singers sound the same today. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO SINGERS LIKE FREDDIE MERCURY AND ROBERT PLANT!?!?!?

They sound like teenagers trying to sing but those bands i listed sound very very unique. Take Interpole for instance, they compare front man Paul Banks to Ian Curtis (from Joy Division )
I prefer classic rock, but modern rock is not all bad. To say otherwise without having heard it all, even considering how different each band's sound is, is quite ignorant.

Theyre actually pretty good. And very unique too.
Classic Rock is infinitely better than Modern Rock, imo. Modern bands and artists simply cannot compare with Springsteen, The Beatles, The Eagles, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Simon %26 Garfunkle, U2, Billy Joel, Elton John (more pop, but whatever), Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, and The Rolling Stones.By the way, I recognize that Black Sabbath is metal.
