Expand my Playlist !

First off, i磀 like to point out that this topic is not only to expand my personal playlist, it磗 for everyone who has a music taste anything close to my own.I磎 getting tired of listening to the same songs over and over again, but i have a hard time finding music that really hits home with me, and too often do i get disappointed when trying to discover new planes of musical inspiration. It磗 like a jungle out there, and i can hardly believe i磎 the only one who has trouble finding and adding great songs to their playlist. It usually takes listening thru 10-50 bad to mediocre tracks before anything worth remembering comes up. So let磗 cut some corners and get straight to the sweet stuff! :)What you should not post, regardless of your own disposition towards the genre or song:Genres and specifically songs that too often revisit the playlists of the popular radio stations/MTV/VH1.Songs which you know is very hard to come by, either in music stores or as downloadable content. (there磗 no point in posting, if we cant get ahold of it.)Your entire playlist (which i am sure you are very proud of). Please keep it to only a handful of suggestions at the most - make it the cream of the crop!In order to weed out confusion, please start out by writing the name of the band/artist, followed up by the song, divide with a ''-'' for simplicity if you care to do so.If you have nothing constructive to add, please keep your trap shut :)Thank you!Expand my Playlist !
And we know what music is similar because...?Anyway, The Cure is always a wise choice. Anything off the Disintegration album for starters. Expand my Playlist !
I say: Queen, and not Cure, because I'm being inflammatory!

The only representative I see of music taste is deftones?[/QUOTE]mhm i find it difficult to answer in genres, since pretty much all music genres and subgenres eventually end up proving me wrong, forcing me to re evaluate. But some quick namedropping would be:Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares, Killswitch Engage, Dream Theater, Crossfade, Breaking Benjamin, Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, Soilwork, Mozart and anything with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau :)
