It's called ''Miseria Cantare''.
My favorite at the moment would be ''Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine''.Favorite album intro?
The intro to Wardrive by Wastelander
It's just a bunch of zombies moaning that get louder and louder
Odens Ride Over Nordland by Bathory on Blood Fire Death album. Epic and haunting. The thunderous hoofs and sounds of horses gives it some atmosphere.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eY-Gag31dtU

Who? Me? ;)
King of Carrot Flowers, Pt. 1 - Neutral Milk Hotel
I would have to give it to either Darkness of Christ by Slayer off of God Hates Us All or Enter the Machine by Arch Enemy from Doomsday Machine.
What are your favorite intro tracks to an album?Personally,Miseria Cantare from AFI off of Sing the Sorrow( in the link it doesn't really start until 35 sec)
''A0001'' on Thursday's first major label album ''Full Collapse''.......btw.....I thought ''Sing the Sorrow'' had really crummy vocals......Decemberunderground is phenomenal, though.
Limbs on Agalloch's Against the Grain. It sets the tone for the rest of the album and is a totally killer track.
I don't know if it counts, because its the second song, butEruptionby Van Halen on the album Van Halen
Rome 64 C.E, and Samon are both very good
Welcome to the Jungle and Smells Like Teen Spirit. The first 15 or 20 seconds lets you know the band means business.
Intros usually aren't all that much... Miseria Cantare would also be my favorite I think.
Certainly one of the most memorable is the intro to Dark Side of the Moon, but I don't know if I'd call it my favorite. This is a very tough question. I get different things out of different albums of course, and intros are no exception.
