I have a problem with the supporters of the death penality. And I wish to discuss several arguements that they use.''well since the violated someone elses right to life they deserve the same'' Really? what about manslaughter? Do yoy really think that and eye for an eye is a good thing?''kill that 16 year old he has no benefit to society and is just a psychopath!'' Really? who made you a psychologist? Who gave you the right to say who has value to society and who can be rehabilitated?''well their just gonna use up our tax dollars'' So human life should be judged based on someones worth to the state? Dangerous thinking pal. Oh but murderers are not people right?''what if you daughter was killed by a psycho would you not want him to be killed?'' Yeah but thats called bias for a reason folks. We shouldnt let something like government exuction fall into the realm of emotion. At least not when said emotion is calling for the death of another human being just because he killed someone.---Now a few questions for the pro death penalty people.1.Do you really think that someone who kills with out any premeditation is a psychopath? No many murderrs have expressed sympathy and had their concience haunted by their actions even if they go to jail or not.2.Do you really think that if we don't allow kids to drive or drink we should still be allowed to kill them? Oh but I guess when you kill someone your a man huh?3.Do you really think that state exution is fair and balenced in its current state? Even if I was for the death penality which i'm not it definantly needs to be suspended until prison reform reaches a fair state. 4.At what age should we kill someone for murder? 5.Why do you treat criminals like they are not people with familys and loved ones? Why do you dehumanize them and treat them as a seperate species?6.If the state called upon random citizens to kill people on death row like they do with jury duty would you kill the prisoner? If so would you do it if his family was present?7.How are we right for killing murderers who killed out of belief that they were morally right in doing so? We say that we are right yet many killers have claimed that their actions were justified just like we do.---Now a few random thoughts. When I see people calling for the death of people in grotesque ways I do not think that they are any better than the murderers themselves. I think they are the same. I have heard people calling for the death of that 8 year old kid who shot his dad.How does this benefit society other than in a monetary way? Death Row inmates escaping is not a common occurence and don't lie and say taht by killing them your keeping them from killing again. If they are behind bars the chance of them killing again ever is 0.00001% Now many of you may say that for that 0.0000% Chance we should kill them. What do you think your chance of kiliing someone is? 100 years ago hanging would be considered acceptable for theft. Does a state that allows government to murder citizens not risk misuse? For those who dine on the flesh of the condemed i curse you
I feel you, but I think some peoples crimes are so severe that they deserve something much worse than the death penalty.
People like child rapists, serial killers, and those freaks that eat people.
I really wish there was an even more harsh way to deal with those people.
For those who dine on the flesh of the condemed i curse you
I'm not too sure if supporters of the death penalty are cannibals.
hmm I believe a majority of people on this site support life imprisonment over the death penalty anyways..
and BTW, the Death Penalty costs more than life imprisonment does.. believe it or not, several years worth of judges, lawyers, jurerers, jailers, travel etc, costs a lot..
I'm not too sure if supporters of the death penalty are cannibals.
The title is a mockery of how we as a society act like animals when it comes to murder.
Death penalty should be used more often. People who commit terrible murders and crimes shouldn't be given a second chance to do it again.
isn't that why we have trials for them... to determine if they are ''psychopaths'' or not, and if they merit the death penalty or not? :?
