Which do you think is more important: how it feels, or the very act of it. A lot of movies, etc make it out (excuse the pun folks) to be this amazing sensation in your mouth, But I would say its the act of actually doing it and someone allowing you to do it them and doing it back to you that is more important. Is the act of kissing more important than how it feels?
how it feels :P One thing is to kiss a guy, but if youre like in love, the feeling you get afterwards beats the crap outta?anything else in my book! Is the act of kissing more important than how it feels?
For me, most of the thrill comes from managing to get the girl to kiss me... once that's done, most of the fun went out the window, unless she interests me for a relationship. I guess I like the charming game a lot...

Agreed, the act of getting someone to kiss you really isn't that hard in my book. It's all about who you're kissing that makes the difference.
its mostly about who it is and how you feel relatively to that person, the kiss itself is wonderful, but the feelings you get from it are superior in my opinion
In my inexperienced opinion, it's the emotion involved that really gets to me.
its just good. i don't like it that much. i like to get down to business instead
I like both kissing and the feeling...
I kiss ass all the time, so it doesn't matter to me.
for me it is the act that counts, the feeling means very little to me
its kinda gross, so she'll just kiss me somewhere else in stead
depends on the situation...and what/who is being kissed...
Lol...bl, this belongs in the Off-Off-Topic thread :P .But all juvenile responses aside...imho, everyone has at least three...reactions...to kissing (other than the very first ''scared poopless'' experience):
1) Out with friends, see/meet some hot girl (or guy as the case may be), get a kiss and it's cool, but for the wrong reasons. (Friends are all impressed, buy you drinks, tell you how money you are, yer a playa.)2) First start dating someone you're really into. Every kiss makes your head spin, and you start wondering if this is ''the one''. (My personal favorite.)3) Been dating someone for a year or two...things just don't seem to be working out. Kissing is like...a chore...something you do to keep her happy. But you start noticing little things...gross little things...that are a far cry from # 2. Like maybe her breath isn't all that fresh anymore. Or her lips aren't as soft as they once were. Or you can taste the Caesar salad she had for lunch. (C'mon ladies...you've been here too...admit it.)So whether a kiss is good or bad is totally dependent on how you feel about the other person. There's no such thing as a ''good kisser'', since it takes two people, and I've never heard of anyone who was good at it all by themselves. (Although there is something to be said for more experienced kissers, I grant you.)
giggidy ,giggidy yah yah :p

So do you think I should be weary if she either starts wearing a Hawaiian shirt or if she wants to go away to a vast tropical island by ourselves?!
I think it has to do with both. Most peopleprobably do it to show their public display of affection for each other though.
I'm quite inexperienced in that department (not the charming type :P ) but I don't understand the appeal of the act itself...

Someone is letting you kiss them - and this is without being intoxicated - it shows that they are willing to let you into their lives a bit and they are wiling to be affectionate to you: its like saying I LIKE YOU JACK CARVER! A LOT!!
Its not as incredible as movies and stuff make it out to be (ditto), but it still feels pretty good. Also the more you get into it the more you will do downstairs. ;) if you get what I mean.

Oh you mean like cleaning the laundry out together and getting rid of the old junk that her parents have left there?
