Its gone stale (love making).. advice?

Ok my girlfriend and I have been together for about 2 years now and we love each other alot and are well very sexual people, we like haveing sex and experimenting with different positions toys, and places. But the last few months have been extremely bland for the both of us. Last thing we did to spice things up was haveing a 3-some with one of her girlfriends. I admit it was hot but the whole time I was getting a vibe that whenever I did anything with the other girl I was beeing watched extremely closely and didn't really enjoy the whole experience.Recently we came up with some ideas like trying new partners. For instance I have a friend who is kind of in the same position we are in and we are thinking of kind of doing a girlfriend swap in a group environment... We believe it will kind of refresh our love lives and put a perspective on how much we really love and appreciate each other but are also very concerned of any complications that could come to our relationships and friendships..I like the idea considering I think my friends girlfriend is really hot and I know we have chemisty and the same goes for my girlfriend and my buddy. Im just kind of confused and nervous about the whole thing, but feel like if some kind of spark doesn't come back love making with my girlfriend wont be enjoyable and will eventually bring an end to the relationship, and the same can be said about her.I know sex shouldn't be the basis of a relationship and by no means is it what we base our relationship on, but we enjoy it alot and everytime we do it share a deep emotional bond with one another but that is slipping away. We have tried long breaks from sexual contact and even physical contact but it doesnt really work.Any advice on the above?Its gone stale (love making).. advice?

I'm not so sure that girlfriend swap is a great idea. If I were in your position, I would stop putting so much emphasis on the physical part of the relationship. Just talk with your girlfriend more. Go out and do fun things together instead of just relying on love-making. Maybe this isn't the advice you're looking for, but it's what I would do. Sex, to me, is the ultimate expression of love, so maybe you guys should rediscover why you love each other so much. Then, sex would mean a lot more to you two.

I suggest costume. Plenty of costumes. Does she like gaming? Because you could dress up as your favourite game characters. I suggest you try the following: She puts on a Hawaiian shirt Jack Carver style. Then you could be Val or perhaps one of those killer monkeys from the game. Alternatively you could try Crysis and also pretend you're on an island. You could put on a power suit and then she could say ''Maximum...'' you know what. Well you can guess the rest. Other games you could try out: Mass Effect. Take turns pretending to be the alien. Company of Heroes. Now some people get a kick out of German uniforms. I don't myself but there are some that do. Bioshock. Start by smoking a pipe and talking like you are from the 1940s like Andrew Ryan. She may like the older man you know. Some girls do. Similarly one of you could also put on Captain Prices mustache for a similar effect. Half-Life 2: You could go to the movies like normal people and take turns being Gordon Freeman and not say anything like couples SHOULD during a movie.I think both of you would also take a lot from reading the novel Twilight and also seeing the film (Check that review kids) I know I did! It didn't work, we are just two very sexual people and love doing the nasty with each other. We love each other deeply even beyond the physical aspect we do things together we go out to dinner, parties movies family events and such but man this is just putting a huge wall on the relationship.

Well you know as they say; Distance is to love as fire is to wind. Hang out less often, so when you are together (in bed and out of bed) you'll appreciate what you have more. This doesn't mean just have sex less often, it means being each other less often.
