I just saw this on a show and couldn't believe what I heard. A parent complained about a school play featuring the song ''Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer'' because they have ''clearly decided that any other religion or custom is not important.'' Are you kidding me? :| What's next? White board markers of green and red color promote Christmas?Source. Parent complains about Santa and Rudolph in Christmas song
Ah yes, I remember reading about Rudolph in the Bible. Parent complains about Santa and Rudolph in Christmas song
People are seriously out of their minds.
School officials also found the use of ''Santa'' to be okay because he's considered a nonreligious figure.
Honestly, I hate how schools decide to avoid religion because some people find it offensive. There's no problem with a Hanukkah song or a song about the Virgin Birth, but ultimately it's the school's decision.
Ridiculous.
It's a public institution, deal with it. EDIT: My mistake, is the complaint that Santa is associated with Christianity? Because thats a bit of a stretch.
I don't what to say. What is this world coming to?
....Dude, Santa and Rudolph aren't exactly associated with religion... I mean, come on, Santa is red because of Coca Cola...
Santa and Rudolph are not part of a religion which is why schools re allowed to do anything at all for Christmass. I mean if it wasnt for these kind of charachters what would schools do? They can't exactly do religious stuff in school because of seperation of Church and State so what exactly does the guy want?
It's a public institution, deal with it. EDIT: My mistake, is the complaint that Santa is associated with Christianity? ''Santa'' is Spanish for ''saint,'' so that's obviously a reference to religion, which is evil and controlling our little ones in the schools.''Rudolph'' means ''famous wolf,'' but I don't like it so I'll act like it's a part of religion and complain for that reason.

It wasn't because it was a reference to Christianity that was the reason for the complaint, but because there was no reference to Judaism.
Parents like this are the anti christ, and will purge the world of Christianity until all souls are lost into damnation - starting with your children.
wow, its christmas, its a time where every religion sings. my cousin works at a pre school it is a mix of jewish kids and chrisains they sing christmas songs....

So is Christmas the time of year when parents and church goers become completely insane?

It should be Christians complaining about the association of Santa with Christmas if anyone...
Hell, he wears red, children worship him, and his name is an anagram of ''Satan.''

Aw man, and to think that my favorite part of christmas is the atmosphere (songs, light, colors)
