If you parents disowned you for your religion or sexuality?

All of the clone threads got me to thinking. What would you do if you parents kicked you out of the house when you were 18 for being a different sexuality or religion than what they deemed acceptable? I ask this because I want all of the people saying they would kick their kids out to put themselves in their kids shoes. What would I do? I'd key my parents car and cut off all contact from them. If they need my help too bad because I needed their support back when they kicked me out.If you parents disowned you for your religion or sexuality?
YOU CLONED A CLONE THREAD, NO MORE OF THESE LAME THREADS!!!!!!!!!!If you parents disowned you for your religion or sexuality?
I have no idea what I would have done.
YOU CLONED A CLONE THREAD, NO MORE OF THESE LAME THREADS!!!!!!!!!!
Except I'm asking a genuine question inspired by the clone threads whilst they were just spamming. There is a huge difference.
They would have wasted 18 years of feeding and taking care of a son they never even wanted in the first place??

not much of a difference in my book. It's basically the questions they were asking just reversed so the person posting is the 'outcast' child, or something along those lines.
Be pretty much screwed, though my parents arn't like that at all, and wouldn't do it.
I plan on moving out when I'm 18 anyways, but I know my parents would never kick me out for having differing views. There about as liberal as it gets.
Not likely, my parents are not religious and they know well that I am attracted to teh females. Me and my dad are quite the perverts, and my uncle as well.
Well I'm straight so no complaints towards sexuality. I've had arguments with my family over religion. My mother didn't understand how I couldn't believe in God but I explained to her that I didn't feel there was a point to being religious if we didn't even go to church. Ultimately, I don't think they really care.
I guess I'd be pretty upset, but I don't think I'd really do anything.
I guess I'd have to move into a mates house and get a job. Then disown my parents for a while.
If any parent was that pathetic and would disown there own child for making their own choice then they could go to hell.
I'd freak out at first, trying to get my life up and running as fast as possible. I'd try ask a friend or a family member if I could stay with them for a while, maybe pay rent to stay there, and cut off contact with my folks. I'd be furious if they wouldnt accept me for my beliefs or sexuality, since I'm their own flesh and blood, they are supposed to love me no matter what!
Leave, and never look back. Thankfully I have wonderful accepting parents, but being a parent myself, I would never get past that. Nor would I ''disown'' any of my children for any reason.
I can't really see it happening. i can't even picture it. if my parents had a personality close to that i would be arguing constantly with them anyway.
I'd be insanely disappointed with them.
I wouldn't be surprised with my parents, and it would definitely be over religion, which is why I don't share my views on it with them right now. I plan on moving out when I'm 18 though anyways, and would be glad for the separation.
I'd disown them right back, and brand them fanatical hate mongering morons.
I most likely respectfully disagree with them and reach out to them at different times.
