Sleepy Hollow. Arguably not horror but has enough horror elements for me to classify it as such.

28 Days Later. Easily one of the most immersive ones at the beginning.Oh and Night of the Living Dead did have an excellently eerie Musical score.

The Shining %26 The Descent. I rarely watch horror movies, no interest, but those two are great IMO.
The Wicker Man original not that nic cage crap-even tho hes surrounded by people u really get the feeling hes alone

i kinda thought that silent hill had a creepy atmosphere.. it wasnt so much scary but i just felt it was so DARK and like glommy, i dont know. same thing goes with 30 days of night, it was really like dark and eary to me
