Which Internet Security Suite do you use?

I have always wondered which Internet Security Suite most knowledgeable people use. I myself have used Norton, McAfee and AVG to some extent. I am currently running a 60 day trial of Norton Internet Security and it will expire in 12 days so I would like to know which Internet Security Suite I should spend my money on or if I should spend any money at all. I am also looking at McAfee Internet Security 2009 for 3 PCs for £39.99 currently. So, which Internet Security Suite do you use and why? What do you recommend? Which Internet Security Suite do you use?
All those virus programs don't do anything whether they're purchased or trial versions. What they are effective at is eating CPU resources and Page File usage. Which Internet Security Suite do you use?

At the moment I'm running Avira free for anti-virus protection and Comodo Firewall. Got Ad-Aware and Spybot S%26D for the occasional spyware scan, but I don't keep those running.
I use mac, that good enough security for me :P
I go for free avira conjoined with nod32.
I just use AVG Free. Works great. That and some common sense avoids problems for me.
I use NOD32. It is often regarded as one of the best.
I've been using avast! Anti-virus, Spybot S%26D, and Ad-Aware for the past 4 years on the same computer and havent had any problems. All these products are free and get frequent updates. Im running about 29 processes average and my computer doesnt experience any slowdowns. I schedule a weekly scan of my computer at night.
I use AVG Free, and Windows Firewall. As long as you stay away from nefarious sites, you're fine. I really never understood why people actually spend money on security software. I've never had a problem...maybe I'm just lucky.

I 2nd that avg free is the best.
I use Firefox with NoScript and AdBlock Plus + ESET Nod32 + Spybot Search %26 Destroy + Sygate Personal Firewall + a Start-up process manager (can't remember the name of it at this time). It's overkill, but there is basically no chance of anything happening.

That's why Apple themselves recommend using anti-virus software on Macs? rofl

I find Webroot to be the best. It doesn't bother me every second about programs using my Internet that are obviously okay, such as online games Red Alert 3 and Battlefield 2. Windows Firewall, Panda and Norton always block the connection for these harmless programs. Unlike McAfee, I don't need to uninstall the software to disable it. Maybe that's been changed, but a recent computer I worked on suggests otherwise. In my four years of owning Webroot, I've yet to have my computer ruined from a virus. It finds them, quarantines them and deletes them at your leisure and control, whereas previous AVS I used would require me to poke around computer files to find and delete the virus.Webroot Desktop Firewall is offered for free on their official website, along with trials of their other computer security software. http://www.webroot.com/En_US/consumer-downloads.html?WRSID=7356628f667492243b91005de47669bd. They seem like a good brand to me, and I trust their products. :) http://www.webroot.com/
I'm using Norton. Whatever you get, never get Windows Live OneCare or anything by AOL.
I have had many problems with my Firewalls and Vista. Windows Defender should be preinstalled however it does nothing and therefore its a load of rubbish. AVG messed up with me as well, last year, couldnt be installed, or reinstalled, even in safe mode, meaning i had to reinstall Windows. I realised that Avast Home Edition Free is the best. It looks absolutely great but the good thing about it is that it has real time protection, meaning its scanning every website you click on and every program. Its prevented me from quite a few viruses so far, and i would highly recommend it. I think its what ur looking for. BTW when u download it and reboot, for the first time only, it will do a full scan before Windows Starts, it takes 2-3 hours as its a thourough and full scan, however, it can be interuppted which is not recommended, hope this helps. And yeah, never get AOL or One Care.

I had that before but it crashes full screen apps when it updates, takes alot of resources when updating and lets somestuff through. Avast is better, i've got it running on full protection and it's using hardley any resources.

Windows defender is actually quite good but it takes a load of resources so only use it if you think you've got something
I use McAfee and Ad-Aware Pro.
I use the ESET NOD32 antivirus. It's one of the best out there along with Kaspersky. I'm not sure if ESET offers an internet security suite or if it's included with NOD32, but I'd recommend it either way. The virus definitions get updated on a near constant basis and it doesn't use up much system resources.
