Would you say join the Canadian Forces to be a wise Choice or Bad?

I was thinking of joining as an Infantry Soldier for the Reserve I just need some Advice since I heard its hard to get out once in..Would you say join the Canadian Forces to be a wise Choice or Bad?

I find it to be a good experience %26 hopefully the pay is good..
Well, the pay is actually among the best out there in terms of military salaries. And while their military is small it does offer world class training. In the end it's really your decision. IDK how much of a scholar you are, but if you did well in school there's also the option of becoming a pharmacist/dentist/doctor/officer in the military. The pay for such jobs is phenomenal.
What island? S. Miguel? I'm from S. Miguel also, but I still live in Portugal :P



About joining the military, I'd try to learn as much as possible about it before making a decision. If you have the opportunity, try to visit a military base.
Maybe you should give it a shot...

Canada has an army?!?!
The military is a great way to have your education paid for you and you may really enjoy it.

man stop poking fun at the Canadians, havent they lost quite a few soldiers over in Iraq and Afghanistan?Also, the army in the US is essentially an ''out'' for people that cant afford to go to school, dont want a crap job. Yes, there are the good and idealists that join but the army just isnt a really good place to be right now, especially infantry.Dont know how it is with Canada though. Still, I think its a noble thing to do and if youre up to it go for it. What is your education level? You might be able to get placed into something better than infantry.
